Brandon Christopher Jacobs is a retired American football player known for his time as a running back in the NFL. He primarily played for the New York Giants, with whom he won two Super Bowl championships against the New England Patriots. Drafted by the Giants in 2005, Jacobs also had a stint with the San Francisco 49ers before returning to New York to finish his career. Before turning pro, he played college football for the Auburn Tigers and Southern Illinois Salukis.

In 2001, Jacobs began his college football career at Coffeyville Community College, where he rushed for 1,349 yards and 17 touchdowns, earning him Kansas Jayhawk Conference All-Conference honorable mention and team MVP.
In 2003, Jacobs transferred to Auburn University, where he played alongside future first-round draft picks Carnell Williams, Ronnie Brown, and Jason Campbell.
In 2003, Jacobs transferred to Southern Illinois, where he rushed for 992 yards and 19 touchdowns, earning him All-American and All-Gateway Conference first-team honors.
In 2005, Brandon Jacobs was selected by the New York Giants in the fourth round of the NFL draft.
