Brock Nelson

Brock Nelson is an American professional ice hockey player currently playing center for the Colorado Avalanche in the NHL. Drafted 30th overall by the New York Islanders in 2010, he played college hockey at the University of North Dakota before turning pro. Nelson spent several seasons with the Islanders' AHL affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, before becoming a full-time NHL player with the Islanders. After eleven seasons with New York, he was traded to Colorado. Nelson also won a gold medal representing Team USA at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
