Carson Brown Strong is a former American football quarterback. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2022. Prior to his professional career, he played college football at the University of Nevada. In addition to the Eagles, Strong has also been on the rosters of the Arizona Cardinals and the Michigan Panthers of the USFL.
Carson Brown Strong was born on September 14, 1999. He would go on to play football, becoming a quarterback.
Despite only receiving one FBS offer, Carson Strong committed to playing college football at the University of Nevada, Reno in June 2017.
Carson Strong made his college football debut for the University of Nevada, Reno against Portland State in August 2018.
Carson Strong was named the starting quarterback for Nevada in 2019. He started in 10 games that season.
Despite a shortened season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Carson Strong led the Wolf Pack to a 7-2 record and a victory in the 2020 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. His performance earned him the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Year award.
On December 14, 2021, Carson Strong announced his decision to opt-out of the 2021 Quick Lane Bowl and enter the 2022 NFL Draft.
On April 30, 2022, Carson Strong signed an undrafted free-agent deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. He received a $20,000 signing bonus and $300,000 base guarantee. He was released later that year on August 30th.
Carson Strong was signed to the practice squad of the Arizona Cardinals on December 13, 2022. However, his time with the team was short-lived, as he was released just one week later.
In 2022, Carson Strong began his NFL career as an undrafted free agent, signing with the Philadelphia Eagles. He also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals and Michigan Panthers (USFL).
Carson Strong's time with the Michigan Panthers was cut short when he was placed on injured reserve on May 16, 2023.
On July 21, 2023, Carson Strong transitioned into coaching, joining Colorado State University's staff as a volunteer assistant under Jay Norvell.
Carson Strong was not included in the 2024 UFL dispersal draft on January 15, 2024, following his time with the Michigan Panthers.
