Daniel Berger is an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour. Turning professional in 2013, he has secured multiple victories, including the FedEx St. Jude Classic in 2016 and 2017, the Charles Schwab Challenge in 2020 following the COVID-19 pandemic restart, and the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in 2021. His win at Pebble Beach was highlighted by a decisive eagle on the 18th hole.

In the spring of 2013 at Florida State University, Daniel Berger won the SunTrust Gator Invitational and the Seminole Intercollegiate. During the 2013 season, he led the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) with a 69.36 stroke average and tied for second at the 2013 NCAA Golf Championships.
In 2014, Daniel Berger finished T2 at the TPC Stonebrae Championship and ranked 15th in the Web.com Tour standings, earning him a promotion to the PGA Tour for the 2014-15 season.
In March 2015, Daniel Berger shot a 6-under-par 64 in the final round of the Honda Classic and entered a sudden-death playoff, but lost to Pádraig Harrington. Also in March 2015, at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Berger made a double eagle at the par-5 sixth hole during the third round.
During the 2015 season, Daniel Berger made the cut in 17 of 31 events, had six top-10 finishes, and was the only rookie to make the Tour Championship field in late September. He finished 11th in the FedEx Cup rankings, 25th on the money list, and was named the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year.
At the beginning of the 2017 PGA Tour Season, Daniel Berger switched to Callaway clubs and balls from TaylorMade. In 2017, he successfully defended his FedEx St. Jude Classic title and was selected for the 2017 US Presidents Cup Team.
On June 14, 2020, Daniel Berger won the 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge, earning $1.375 million. This victory, which marked the PGA Tour's return after a three-month hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, elevated him to No. 31 in the world rankings.
In 2019-2020, Daniel Berger had a streak of 32 consecutive rounds at par or better, the eighth-longest streak since 1983.
In 2020, Daniel Berger won the Charles Schwab Challenge, the first PGA Tour tournament after a three-month hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In September 2021, Daniel Berger played on the U.S. team in the 2021 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin. The U.S. team won 19–9, and Berger went 2–1–0, including a win in his Sunday singles match against Matt Fitzpatrick.
