David Allen Schools, known as Dave Schools, is a bass player and a founding member of the band Widespread Panic. Beyond performing, he is also involved in music production and songwriting. Additionally, he has written articles for various music magazines, showcasing his journalism skills. He resides in Sonoma County, California, enjoying gardening when not touring with his band.
In 1986, Widespread Panic officially became a band when Dave Schools, Bell, and Houser welcomed drummer Todd Nance.
