David Hasselhoff, known as "The Hoff," is an American actor, singer, and television personality holding a Guinness World Record for being the most watched man on TV. He rose to prominence as Dr. Snapper Foster on The Young and the Restless (1975-1982). His fame solidified with leading roles as Michael Knight in Knight Rider (1982-1986) and Mitch Buchannon in Baywatch (1989-2000). Hasselhoff also produced Baywatch in the 1990s until its conclusion in 2001 with Baywatch Hawaii.
