Derek Trucks is a highly regarded American guitarist, songwriter, and bandleader. He founded The Derek Trucks Band and later joined The Allman Brothers Band in 1999. His musical journey continued with the formation of the Tedeschi Trucks Band in 2010, a collaboration with his wife, Susan Tedeschi. Known for his diverse musical style spanning multiple genres, Trucks has earned recognition as one of the greatest guitarists of all time by Rolling Stone. He's also the nephew of the Allman Brothers' late drummer, Butch Trucks.
