Jack Flaherty is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Detroit Tigers. Drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the first round of the 2014 MLB draft, he made his MLB debut in 2017. Besides the Tigers, he has also played for the Cardinals and Baltimore Orioles.
In 1961, Jack Flaherty's 0.91 ERA in the second half of the 2019 season placed him among baseball legends, trailing only Bob Gibson and Jake Arrieta for the lowest ERA in major league history.
