Jason Kelce is a retired American football center who played his entire 13-year NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles. Drafted in 2011, he's celebrated for his exceptional skill and leadership. Kelce achieved significant success, including winning Super Bowl LII and earning seven Pro Bowl selections and six first-team All-Pro honors. He is widely regarded as one of the best centers to ever play in the NFL.
In 2007, Jason Kelce saw action at center and guard in nine games as the Cincinnati Bearcats went 10–3 and defeated Southern Mississippi 31–21 in the PapaJohns.com Bowl.
In 2008, as a sophomore, Jason Kelce made 13 starts at left guard for the University of Cincinnati, contributing to an offense that averaged 27.3 points and 375.3 yards per game. The Bearcats were Big East Conference champions and played in the FedEx Orange Bowl, losing to Virginia Tech 20–7.
In 2009, Jason Kelce earned second-team All-Big East honors after starting 13 games at left guard. The Bearcats went undefeated in the regular season, becoming Big East Champions, and lost to Florida 51–24 in the Allstate Sugar Bowl.
In 2010, Jason Kelce was moved to center for his senior season at the University of Cincinnati, where the team went 4–8. He was named Honorable Mention All-America and second-team All-Big East.
On March 11, 2011, Jason Kelce underwent an appendectomy after being diagnosed with appendicitis.
On February 8, 2018, during the Eagles' Super Bowl parade, Jason Kelce gave an impassioned speech where he defended his teammates, coaches, and front office, comparing Eagles fans to hungry dogs while dressed as a mummer.
