Miles Parks McCollum, professionally known as Lil Yachty, is an American rapper who rose to prominence in August 2015. His viral hit "One Night," the lead single from his debut EP, Summer Songs, propelled him into the spotlight. In March 2016, he released his debut mixtape Lil Boat. He solidified his career by signing a joint venture record deal with Motown, Capitol Records, and Quality Control Music in June of the same year.
