Quentin Halys is a French professional tennis player. He reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 46 on June 30, 2025, and a doubles ranking of No. 105 on February 9, 2026. Halys has secured one ATP Tour doubles title, along with seven singles and seven doubles titles on the ATP Challenger Tour, showcasing his talent in both singles and doubles formats.
In 2010, Quentin Halys played in his first ITF Junior Circuit tournament at the G4 Tournoi International de Clermont-Ferrand as a wildcard, losing in the first round. He also reached his first final in doubles at the G5 International Junior Saint-Cyprien, losing in the super tiebreak.
Starting in 2011, Quentin Halys achieved a 17-match win streak, winning consecutively the 1st and 2nd Qatar ITF Junior Open, breaking through the qualifiers of both tournaments to win his first two singles titles. He also finished runner-up in the 1st tournament doubles.
In 2012, Quentin Halys played in all Junior Grand Slams except Wimbledon, but didn't pass the third round in singles. He reached the semifinal at the Australian Open doubles. His only final that year was at the GA Copa Gerdau, partnering Pedro Cachin, where they lost in straight sets.
In 2013, Halys reached the US Open doubles final with Frederico Ferreira Silva, losing to Kamil Majchrzak and Martin Redlicki. He won the 35° Torneo International Citta Di Santa Croce with Benjamin Bonzi. In singles, he lost in the finals of the B1 European Junior Championships to Karen Khachanov.
On March 31, 2014, Quentin Halys reached a career-high combined (singles and doubles) ranking of World No. 3 as a junior player.
Ahead of 2014, Quentin Halys saw much success reaching 7 finals with four titles in doubles and one in singles.
In 2015, Quentin Halys made his Grand Slam debut at the French Open as a wildcard.
In 2016, Quentin Halys recorded his second Major win and first win on clay at the French Open over Chung Hyeon as a wildcard.
In 2016, as a wildcard in the Australian Open main draw, Quentin Halys defeated Ivan Dodig before losing to Novak Djokovic in the second round.
In 2021, Quentin Halys qualified for the US Open for the first time in five attempts, losing in the first round to Dominik Koepfer in five sets.
In 2021, Quentin Halys reached the main draw for the third time at the Australian Open as a qualifier.
In March 2022, Quentin Halys won two Challenger titles at the Teréga Open Pau–Pyrénées and Play In Challenger in Lille, France.
In May 2022, Quentin Halys reached the top 100, after a quarterfinal showing at the Open du Pays d'Aix Challenger.
In July 2022, Quentin Halys won his first match at Wimbledon, defeating Benoît Paire, and reached the top 75 at world No. 74.
In 2022, Quentin Halys made his Masters 1000 debut after qualifying for the Rolex Paris Masters and finished the year ranked world No. 64 in singles.
In 2023, Quentin Halys reached the third round at Wimbledon with wins over Dan Evans and Aleksandar Vukic, marking his first time reaching this stage at a Major.
In 2023, at the Estoril Open, Quentin Halys reached his first ATP semifinal, defeating Nuno Borges, Roberto Bautista Agut, and Dominic Thiem. He lost to Casper Ruud in three sets.
On June 2024, Quentin Halys qualified for Wimbledon Championships and reached a consecutive third round with wins over Christopher Eubanks and Karen Khachanov before losing to Holger Rune in the third round.
In July 2024, Quentin Halys reached his first final on the ATP Tour in Gstaad as a qualifier, returning to the top 125 in the rankings. He lost in the final to Matteo Berrettini.
In September 2024, Quentin Halys returned to the top 100 in the rankings, following a third Challenger final showing at the Rennes Challenger, despite losing to Jacob Fearnley in the championship match.
In March 2025, at the Dubai Tennis Championships, Quentin Halys qualified for the main draw, recorded his first win at the ATP 500-level defeating Andrey Rublev, and reached his first ATP 500 quarterfinal. He reached his first ATP 500 semifinal and achieved a new career-high ranking in the top 60.
In June 2025, Quentin Halys achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 46.
In May of 2025, Quentin Halys reached the third round of the French Open for the first time in his career. In June 2025, as a result of this win, he reached a new career-high singles ranking in the top 50.
