Scott Laughton is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He currently plays centre for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League (NHL).

On October 3, 2013, Scott Laughton returned to the Oshawa Generals of the OHL after being loaned by the Flyers. In his first game back, he recorded four points in a 7–1 win over the Peterborough Petes.

During the 2016 Stanley Cup playoffs, Scott Laughton suffered an injury following a collision into the boards and was stretchered off the ice, causing him to miss the remainder of the postseason. He suffered a lower-body injury during the 2016 preseason games.
On July 11, 2017, the Philadelphia Flyers re-signed Scott Laughton to a two-year, $1.925 million contract.

On November 22, 2019, Scott Laughton was activated off injured reserve by the Flyers following surgery to repair a broken finger he sustained earlier in the season.
In 2020, Laughton and the Flyers faced the Montreal Canadiens in the first round of the 2020 Stanley Cup playoffs. Laughton recorded a two-goal and one assist game on August 6, to put the Canadiens on the brink of elimination. He also recorded the overtime game-winning goal against the New York Islanders in game five. In game seven, Laughton recorded a fight and six hits in a 4–0 shutout loss to the Islanders.
In 2020, Scott Laughton was awarded the Pelle Lindbergh Memorial Trophy as the Philadelphia Flyers' most improved player.
On February 7, 2021, Scott Laughton recorded his first career hat trick in a 7–4 win against the Washington Capitals.
On May 5, 2023, Scott Laughton was named to Canada's men's national ice hockey team at the 2023 IIHF World Championship. He recorded three goals and five assists in ten games and won a gold medal.
