Ted Lasso

Ted Lasso is a sports comedy-drama about Ted Lasso, an American college football coach hired to manage AFC Richmond, an English soccer team. Unbeknownst to Ted, the team's owner, Rebecca Welton, intends for him to fail as an act of revenge against her ex-husband, the previous owner. Despite his lack of soccer knowledge and Rebecca's sabotage, Ted's unwavering optimism, folksy charm, and genuine care for his players begin to win over the team, the fans, and even Rebecca herself. The show explores themes of optimism, leadership, forgiveness, and personal growth as Ted navigates cultural differences and the challenges of professional soccer while positively impacting everyone around him.
