Anthony DeAngelo is an American professional ice hockey player who currently defends for the Carolina Hurricanes (NHL). He has also played for the Arizona Coyotes, New York Rangers, and the Philadelphia Flyers.

In 2008, DeAngelo participated in the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Philadelphia Flyers' minor hockey affiliate.
DeAngelo joined the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the USHL, becoming the youngest player in the league's history.
DeAngelo's season with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders was cut short in January 2011 due to a broken patella.
In 2011, DeAngelo was drafted by the Sarnia Sting in the OHL Priority Selection Draft.

DeAngelo became a restricted free agent after the 2018-19 season. After prolonged negotiations, he agreed to a one-year, $925,000 contract with the Rangers on September 20, 2019.
DeAngelo established himself as an offensive-minded defenseman with exceptional playmaking abilities. His assists significantly contributed to the Rangers' points during his time with the team, and he excelled on the power play, ranking third in power play points in the 2019-20 season. However, his defensive weaknesses were also apparent.

DeAngelo achieved a career milestone on January 9, 2020, by scoring a hat trick against the New Jersey Devils. He became the first Rangers defenseman to score a hat trick since Reijo Ruotsalainen in 1982.

Following an altercation with goaltender Alexandar Georgiev after a loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Rangers placed DeAngelo on waivers on January 31, 2021. On July 23, 2021, the Rangers bought out the remainder of DeAngelo's contract, making him a free agent. This ended his tumultuous tenure with the team.

On July 8, 2022, the Carolina Hurricanes traded DeAngelo to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for draft picks. He signed a two-year contract with the Flyers worth $10 million.
DeAngelo received a two-game suspension from the NHL Department of Player Safety on March 8, 2023, for spearing Tampa Bay Lightning forward Corey Perry.
DeAngelo rejoined the Carolina Hurricanes on July 24, 2023, signing a one-year contract after his buyout from the Philadelphia Flyers.
