Whitley David Merrifield is an American professional baseball player. He is currently a free agent, having previously played for the Kansas City Royals, Toronto Blue Jays, and Philadelphia Phillies. A three-time All-Star and three-time American League stolen base leader, Merrifield primarily plays second base and outfield.
