Xander Schauffele is a highly accomplished American professional golfer on the PGA Tour. He is known for winning the 2017 Tour Championship and securing a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the men's individual golf event. Further solidifying his status, Schauffele had a stellar year in 2024, claiming victory at both the PGA Championship and The Open Championship.

As a result of his Greenbrier Classic victory in July 2017, Xander Schauffele earned exemptions into the Open Championship, the PGA Championship and the 2018 Masters Tournament.
At the beginning of 2018, Xander Schauffele switched equipment manufacturers, signing an endorsement deal with Callaway after previously being sponsored by TaylorMade. He also finished T2 at the 2018 Players Championship and tied for second at the Open Championship.
Due to his performance in the 2017 U.S. Open, Xander Schauffele earned an exemption into the 2018 championship.
In 2018, Xander Schauffele joined the European Tour as an associate member, won the WGC-HSBC Champions, and finished 4th in the European Tour Race to Dubai.
In 2018, Xander Schauffele participated in the FedEx Cup Playoffs, finishing T7 at the 2018 Tour Championship and placing 15th in the season-long FedEx Cup.
In July 2024, Schauffele won the Open Championship at Royal Troon. Schauffele became the first golfer to win multiple majors in the same year since Brooks Koepka won the 2018 U.S. Open and PGA Championship.
In January 2019, Xander Schauffele won the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Maui, Hawaii, with a final-round 62.
At The Open Championship in July 2019, Xander Schauffele became the first player to have their driver fail The R&A's conformity test.
In early August 2019, Xander Schauffele placed 4th in the inaugural 2019 Wyndham Rewards Top 10.
In December 2019, Xander Schauffele played on the U.S. team at the 2019 Presidents Cup at Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Australia, where the U.S. team won.

In August 2021, Xander Schauffele won the Olympic gold medal, becoming the first American since 1904 to win an Olympic gold medal in golf. In September, he played on the U.S. team in the 2021 Ryder Cup.
Xander Schauffele married his wife, Maya, in 2021. They met in college at San Diego State University.
