American Pharoah

American Pharoah was a highly successful American Thoroughbred racehorse who achieved the prestigious Triple Crown in 2015, ending a 37-year drought. He further cemented his legacy by winning the Breeders' Cup Classic, becoming the first horse to achieve the 'Grand Slam' of American horse racing. He was owned by Ahmed Zayat, trained by Bob Baffert, and primarily ridden by Victor Espinoza. He received the Eclipse Award for Horse of the Year and Champion three-year-old in 2015, and was inducted into the American Racing Hall of Fame in 2021.
