Bam Margera is an American former professional skateboarder, stunt performer, television personality, and filmmaker known for his role on MTV's Jackass and its related films. He gained further recognition through his spin-off shows like Viva La Bam, Bam's Unholy Union, and others. Margera also wrote and directed the films Haggard and Minghags, solidifying his presence in the entertainment industry.
On September 28, 1979, Brandon Cole "Bam" Margera was born. He is an American former professional skateboarder, stunt performer, television personality, and filmmaker.
In 1983, the film Sleepaway Camp was released. The name of this film inspired the name of Bam's brother's band CKY, which then inspired the name of their video series.
As early as 1991, Bam Margera, at age 12, used to travel with his brother Jess to Love Park in Philadelphia.

In 1998, Bam Margera began a long-term relationship with Jenn Rivell, who played a prominent part in several of his projects.
In 1999, Margera independently released the first CKY film, then titled CKY: Landspeed, a collection of stunts, pranks, and skateboarding footage set to CKY's music.
In 2001, Margera officially became a member of Team Element, the demonstration team for Element Skateboards, which he remained affiliated with for the rest of his professional career.
