CeeDee Lamb is a professional American football wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. Before turning pro, he played college football at the University of Oklahoma. His performance as a Sooner earned him consensus All-American honors in 2019. He entered the NFL after being drafted by the Cowboys in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft.
On April 8, 1999, Cedarian DeLeon "CeeDee" Lamb was born. He is now a professional football wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL.
In 2005, CeeDee Lamb and his family evacuated from New Orleans to Houston, Texas, due to the effects of Hurricane Katrina.
In 2016, as a senior, CeeDee Lamb recorded 98 receptions for 2,032 yards and 33 receiving touchdowns, leading his team to a 14-1 record. He received several honors including All-State and Houston Touchdown Club's Offensive Player of the Year.
In 2017, as a true freshman at Oklahoma, CeeDee Lamb played in all 14 games, recording 46 receptions for 807 yards and seven touchdowns. He set school freshman single-game records and received freshman All-American honors by ESPN.
In 2018, CeeDee Lamb played as a sophomore at Oklahoma, contributing 65 passes for 1,158 yards and 11 touchdowns. Lamb also recorded five 100-yard receiving games and registered 17 punt returns for 218 yards.
In 2019, CeeDee Lamb had 62 passes for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns and was named a first-team All-American. He was also named the Most Outstanding Player of the Big 12 Championship.
In 2019, CeeDee Lamb played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners, where he was a consensus All-American.
On July 23, 2020, CeeDee Lamb signed a 4-year, $14.01 million contract with the Dallas Cowboys, including a $7.7 million signing bonus.
In 2020, CeeDee Lamb was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of the NFL draft.
On December 29, CeeDee Lamb announced that he would forgo his senior year and enter the 2020 NFL draft.
In 2022, CeeDee Lamb finished the season with 79 receptions for 1,102 yards and six touchdowns. He was selected to his first Pro Bowl and ranked 95th on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2022.
In 2022, CeeDee Lamb recorded career-highs with 107 receptions for 1,359 yards and nine touchdowns. He was named a Pro Bowler for the second time and named to the AP All-Pro 2nd Team.
On August 26, 2024, CeeDee Lamb signed a four-year, $136 million deal with the Cowboys, including $100 million guaranteed and a $38 million signing bonus.
In 2024, CeeDee Lamb signed a four-year contract extension to stay with the Cowboys through the 2028 season.
