Coby White is a professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls. He played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels and was a highly ranked high school player, becoming the top prep scorer in North Carolina history. Drafted seventh overall by the Bulls in 2019, White earned NBA All-Rookie Second Team honors in 2020. In 2024, he finished as the runner-up for the NBA Most Improved Player award.
In 2018, Coby White was named North Carolina Mr. Basketball and awarded USA Today's North Carolina Player of the Year. He was also named to the 2018 McDonald's All-American Game and nominated to the MaxPreps All-America first team.
In 2018, Coby White was named to the United States U18 National team to compete in the 2018 FIBA Under-18 Americas Championship in Canada. White helped lead the team to a gold medal as the team's top scorer, earning all-tournament honors.
