Eric Staal is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre. He played 18 seasons in the NHL for multiple teams, including the Carolina Hurricanes, New York Rangers, and Minnesota Wild. Notably, he is the eldest of the four Staal brothers, all of whom have played in the NHL.
In 1999-2000 season, Eric Staal led his Bantam team to an All-Ontario Championship.
