Jaime Jaquez Jr. is a Mexican-American professional basketball player currently with the Miami Heat, selected 18th overall in the 2023 NBA draft. Before turning pro, he had a successful college career at UCLA, where he earned consensus second-team All-American honors and was named Pac-12 Player of the Year during his senior season in 2023. He was a three-time All-Pac-12 selection, including two first-team honors, and a two-time Pac-12 All-Defensive Team member. Known by the nickname "Juan Wick," a nod to his Mexican heritage and resemblance to John Wick, Jaquez is a promising young talent in the NBA.
