John Wall is an American professional basketball player, primarily a point guard, known for his time with the Washington Wizards. Drafted first overall in 2010 after a year at Kentucky, Wall became a five-time NBA All-Star (2014-2018) and earned All-NBA Team honors in 2017. His career was significantly impacted by injuries starting in 2019, leading to a trade to the Houston Rockets in 2020 after a prolonged absence. He briefly played for the Los Angeles Clippers before being bought out by the Rockets in 2023.
