In February 2024, Jordan Thompson reached another quarterfinal at the Delray Beach Open but lost to Tommy Paul. On 19 February 2024, he moved into the top 40 in the singles rankings and became the Australian No. 2 behind Alex de Minaur.
In July 2024, Jordan Thompson, partnering with Max Purcell, reached his first Grand Slam final at the All England Club. As a result, he moved into the top 25 in the doubles rankings on 15 July 2024. They were defeated in the final by Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara. At the same tournament, in singles, he reached the second round with a win over Pavel Kotov.
