In July 2024, Jordan Thompson, partnering with Max Purcell, reached his first Grand Slam final at the All England Club. As a result, he moved into the top 25 in the doubles rankings on July 15, 2024. They were defeated in the final by Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara. At the same tournament, in singles, he reached the second round with a win over Pavel Kotov.
