Mauricio Dubón is a Honduran professional baseball utility player currently with the Houston Astros in MLB. Drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 2013, Dubón debuted in MLB with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2019. He has also played for the San Francisco Giants. As a utility player, he contributes to the team in multiple positions.

In 2015, Dubón played for the Greenville Drive and High-A Salem Red Sox, achieving a combined .288/.349/.376 slash line and 30 stolen bases in 120 games, and being named an SAL mid-season All Star.
In 2016, Dubón earned a spot in the Carolina League All-Star team and was later promoted to Double-A Portland Sea Dogs, showcasing a .306 average and 24 stolen bases before his promotion.
In 2017, Dubón played for both the Biloxi Shuckers and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, achieving a combined .274 batting average, with eight home runs, 57 RBIs and 38 stolen bases in 129 games, and was named a Southern League mid-season All Star.
On July 7, 2019, Dubón was promoted to the major leagues by the Brewers and made his MLB debut against the Pittsburgh Pirates, becoming the second Honduran to make it to MLB.
In 2022, Dubón became the first-ever Honduran player to appear in the playoffs, and he also became the first Honduran player to win a World Series.
In 2022, Dubón won his first career World Series title with the Houston Astros, becoming the first Honduran-born player in Major League history to both play in and win a World Series.
On September 4, 2023, Dubón and Altuve hit back-to-back home runs twice in the same game versus the Texas Rangers, a major league first. It was also Dubón's first career multi-home run game.
For the 2023 season, Dubón reached career highs in nearly every offensive category and was awarded the Gold Glove for utility players, becoming the first-ever Honduran player to win a Gold Glove Award.
