Maximilian "Maxi" Kleber is a German professional basketball player who plays power forward in the NBA. Currently playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, Kleber brings size and skill to the court. He is known for his contributions as a role player.
In 2011, Maxi Kleber made his professional debut in Germany's top-flight Basketball Bundesliga, playing for s.Oliver Baskets in Würzburg.
In 2012, Maxi Kleber declared for the NBA draft but later withdrew his name from the list.

On April 18, 2022, during game 2 of the first round of the playoffs, Maxi Kleber scored 25 points and hit eight 3-pointers in a 110–104 win over the Utah Jazz.
On March 17, 2023, Maxi Kleber made a buzzer-beating, game-winning three-pointer in a 111–110 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
In 2024, Maxi Kleber helped Dallas reach the NBA Finals where the Mavericks lost to the Boston Celtics in five games.
On February 2, 2025, Maxi Kleber was traded, alongside Luka Dončić and Markieff Morris, to the Los Angeles Lakers.
On April 30, 2025, during the first round of the playoffs, Maxi Kleber made his debut for the Lakers, scoring two points in a 103–96 loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves, eliminating the Lakers from the playoffs.
In the February 2, 2025 trade that sent Maxi Kleber to the Lakers, the Mavericks traded a 2029 first-round pick to the Los Angeles Lakers.
