Omar Bravo is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a striker and currently works as a football manager. He is best known for his prolific goal-scoring record, particularly during his time with Chivas Guadalajara. Bravo is considered a club legend for Chivas, having played numerous seasons and becoming their all-time leading scorer. He also had stints playing for other clubs in Mexico and internationally. Bravo represented the Mexico national team, participating in major tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup. After retiring as a player, he transitioned into coaching.

February 2001: Debut with Guadalajara senior team

On February 17, 2001, Omar Bravo debuted with the Guadalajara senior team under manager Jorge Dávalos against Tigres UANL in a 0–0 draw.
