Sean Couturier is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre and the captain of the Philadelphia Flyers in the NHL. Drafted eighth overall in 2011, he has spent his entire NHL career with the Flyers, becoming a key player for the team. Couturier is known for his two-way play, excelling both offensively and defensively, making him a valuable asset. He has won the Frank J. Selke Trophy, awarded annually to the NHL forward who demonstrates the most skill in the defensive component of the game.
