AJR

AJR is an American indie pop band comprised of brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met. They write, produce, and mix their own music from their apartment in New York City. They started out busking and doing covers before transitioning to writing original songs. To date, they have released five studio albums on various record labels alongside their own indie label.

2001: Moved to Chelsea, Manhattan

In 2001, the three members of AJR moved from Bayside, Queens, to Chelsea, Manhattan.

2005: Began street performing in NYC

In 2005, AJR began street performing in the parks of New York City.

November 2012: Ryan tweets to celebrities

In November 2012, Ryan tweeted a link to a video of their debut single, "I'm Ready", to about 80 celebrities, including Sia.

2012: Self-released first EP

In 2012, AJR self-released their first eponymous limited edition EP in CD format.
