Anthony Banda is an American professional baseball pitcher currently playing for the Minnesota Twins in MLB. Drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2012, he made his MLB debut with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2017. Notably, Banda has played for multiple teams throughout his career, including the Tampa Bay Rays, New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees, Washington Nationals, and Los Angeles Dodgers, before joining the Twins.

In 2011, Anthony Banda was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 33rd round of the Major League Baseball draft, but he did not sign with them.

In 2012, after being drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers, Anthony Banda made his professional debut with the Arizona League Brewers, where he had a 2–3 record and a 5.83 ERA.
In 2013, Anthony Banda played for the Helena Brewers, achieving a 3–4 record with a 4.45 ERA in 14 starts.
On July 31, 2014, Anthony Banda and Mitch Haniger were traded by the Brewers to the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for Gerardo Parra. Banda was then assigned to the South Bend Silver Hawks.
In 2014, Anthony Banda began the season with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, making 20 appearances, 14 of which were starts, and achieved a 6-6 record with a 3.66 ERA.
In 2015, Anthony Banda played with the Visalia Rawhide, where he had an 8-8 record with a 3.32 ERA, leading the league with 152 strikeouts and earning All-Star honors.
In 2016, Anthony Banda was promoted to the Reno Aces in June and selected to play in the All-Star Futures Game that July. He had a 10–6 record and 2.88 ERA between Mobile and Reno.
On July 22, 2017, Anthony Banda made his major league debut, pitching against the Washington Nationals. He allowed four runs on seven hits in 5+2⁄3 innings.
