The Arizona Diamondbacks are a professional baseball team based in Phoenix, Arizona, competing in MLB's National League West division. Established in 1995 and beginning play in 1998 as an expansion team, they play their home games at Chase Field. Notably, the Diamondbacks are one of the newest teams in MLB and the youngest to win a World Series.
