Carlos Boozer is a retired American professional basketball player, known for his NBA career spanning the Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls, and Los Angeles Lakers. A two-time NBA All-Star, Boozer also played internationally for the Guangdong Southern Tigers. He achieved Olympic success with Team USA, securing a bronze medal in 2004 and a gold medal in 2008.

In 2006, Carlos Boozer won the Western Conference Player of the Week Award and was named as a reserve to the NBA All-Star roster. However, he could not participate due to a hairline fracture in his left fibula.
On April 23, 2007, in a game against the Houston Rockets, Carlos Boozer scored 41 points. He also led the Jazz past the Rockets in game 7 of the first round in the NBA Playoffs, securing the victory.
In November 2007, Carlos Boozer was named Western Conference Player of the Month.
