Jonathan Toews, a Canadian ice hockey centre, is best known for captaining the Chicago Blackhawks from 2008-2023. Drafted third overall in 2006, he joined the Blackhawks in 2007 and was quickly nominated for Rookie of the Year. Appointed captain the following season, he led the team to Stanley Cup victories in 2010, 2013, and 2015. In 2010 he also won the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP. Toews is the youngest player to join the Triple Gold Club, solidifying his reputation as a top player and leader.
