Mack Hollins is an American professional football wide receiver currently playing for the New England Patriots in the NFL. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft after playing college football at the University of North Carolina, where he was a wide receiver for the North Carolina Tar Heels.
In 2012, Mack Hollins joined the University of North Carolina Tar Heels football team after receiving a walk-on opportunity, contingent upon his acceptance to the school.
In 2013, as a freshman, Mack Hollins was named special teams captain for the North Carolina Tar Heels. He appeared in all 13 games and finished the regular season with nine tackles and recovered a fumble against Duke.
In 2014, Mack Hollins earned honorable mention All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) accolades after recording 35 catches for 613 yards and eight touchdowns. He was also one of the team's best special teams players and earned ACC Receiver of the Week honors after a game against Virginia where he caught two passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns. Hollins also had a 91-yard touchdown play against San Diego State, the longest play in Kenan Stadium history.
In 2015, as a junior, Mack Hollins led all NCAA major college players with an average of 24.8 yards per reception. He was named ACC Receiver of the Week twice during the season. He became the first Tar Heel since 2011 to catch three touchdown passes in a game.
