Michael "Mike" Knuble is a retired Canadian-born American professional ice hockey right winger. He played 16 seasons in the NHL for the Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, Philadelphia Flyers, and Washington Capitals. Knuble was known for his net-front presence and scoring ability, particularly during his time with the Flyers and Capitals.

In 1987, Mike Knuble's father, Aivars, died of a heart attack at the age of 45 when Mike was 15 years old.

In 2003-04, Mike Knuble had another solid season, recording 21 goals and 25 assists in 82 games for the Boston Bruins. He also set the NHL record for fastest two goals to start a game. After the season, he signed a three-year contract with the Philadelphia Flyers.
In 2005-06, Mike Knuble had his best season as a professional, recording career highs in goals, assists, and points (34, 31, and 65 respectively) for the Philadelphia Flyers.
In 2006-07, Mike Knuble nearly had his season cut short after a collision with Brendan Shanahan but returned to finish with 24 goals and 30 assists in 64 games for the Philadelphia Flyers.
On February 2, 2008, Mike Knuble recorded his first career hat trick in a 3-0 Flyers win over the Anaheim Ducks.
On April 17, 2008, Mike Knuble scored his first career playoff overtime goal to eliminate the Washington Capitals in Game 7 of the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
