OneRepublic is an American pop rock band formed in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 2002. The band's current lineup includes Ryan Tedder, Zach Filkins, Drew Brown, Brent Kutzle, Eddie Fisher, and Brian Willett. OneRepublic gained significant popularity with their hit single "Apologize" in 2007. Though initially formed in 2002, the group disbanded briefly only to re-form shortly thereafter. They have since released several successful albums and are known for their catchy pop-rock anthems. OneRepublic continues to create and tour with their music internationally, maintaining a devoted fan base.

1996: Formation of "This Beautiful Mess"

Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins formed their first band, "This Beautiful Mess", in 1996 during their senior year at Colorado Springs Christian High School.
