Paul George, nicknamed "PG-13", is an American professional basketball player currently playing for the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA. A nine-time NBA All-Star, he has also been selected six times for the All-NBA Team and four times for the NBA All-Defensive Team, marking him as one of the premier players in the league.
In 1962, Wilt Chamberlain set the All-Star game record of 42 points. In the 2016 NBA All-Star Game in Toronto, Paul George finished one point shy of Wilt Chamberlain's record.
On May 2, 1990, Paul Clifton Anthony George, later nicknamed "PG-13", was born. He became a professional basketball player.

During the 2012 off-season, Paul George addressed his inability to create shots and improve his ball-handling skills by working with trainer Jerry Powell, contributing to his development as a player.
Paul George participated in the Slam Dunk Contest in 2012, showcasing his athleticism and high-flying ability.

In 2014, Paul George suffered a broken leg while competing for a roster spot on the United States national team for the FIBA Basketball World Cup, causing him to miss most of the 2014-15 season.
In 2014, Paul George suffered a compound fracture of both bones in his lower right leg during a Las Vegas scrimmage for the US national team. He underwent surgery, and was expected to miss the entire 2014-15 season. He eventually returned to the Pacers lineup on April 5.

Paul George scored a then playoff career-high 39 points in game 4 against the Wizards. The Pacers were eliminated in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat for the third straight year. Paul George was named to the All-NBA third team, which qualified him for the full 30% extension and All-Defensive First Team.
