The Paper Kites are an Australian indie rock/folk rock band formed in Melbourne in 2009 by Sam Bentley and Christina Lacy. They have released six studio albums and two EPs as of 2025. Their 2010 single "Bloom" achieved Platinum certification in the United States. Their most recent album, 'At the Roadhouse', was released on September 1, 2023.
‘The Paper,’ a spinoff of ‘The Office,’ is set to premiere in September on Peacock. The show is headlining Peacock's 2025-2026 programming slate and a first look image has been released.
The J Awards, an annual series of Australian music awards, were established by Triple J in 2005.
In 2009, The Paper Kites were formed in Melbourne by Sam Bentley and Christina Lacy.

On April 18, 2018, The Paper Kites released "On the Train Ride Home", the first of two new albums, consisting of eight tracks recorded in Melbourne at Bellbird Studios.
