Andrew McCutchen is a professional baseball outfielder and designated hitter, currently a free agent. He's played for several MLB teams, including the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, and Milwaukee Brewers. McCutchen has also represented the United States in international competition. A notable achievement includes winning a gold medal with Team USA at the 2017 World Baseball Classic.

1970: First Pirate Duo with five hits since 1970

On May 14, 2010, Andrew McCutchen had a career day against the Chicago Cubs, going 5-for-5 with five runs. He and teammate Garrett Jones became the first Pirate duo since Willie Stargell and Bob Robertson in 1970 to each record five hits in the same game.
