Duck Commander

Duck Commander is an American hunting and outdoor recreation company founded by Phil Robertson in West Monroe, Louisiana. Robertson, a former football quarterback, created and patented the Duck Commander duck call. Initially a small operation crafting calls from Louisiana cedar, the business grew substantially under the leadership of Willie Robertson, Phil's son and current CEO, alongside his wife Korie. They expanded Duck Commander into a multi-million dollar enterprise with additional brands like Buck Commander for deer hunting, Fin Commander for fishing, and Strut Commander for turkey hunting.

October 29, 2013: Release of Duck the Halls album

On October 29, 2013, the Robertson family released a Christmas album, Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas, on the UMG Nashville label.

2014: Release of Duck Dynasty video game

In 2014, Activision Blizzard published a hunting video game called "Duck Dynasty", which was developed by Fun Labs. It was released on Steam, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. A separate version of the game was developed by Black Lantern Studios for Nintendo 3DS.

2015: Duck Dynasty slot machine

In 2015, Bally Technologies created a slot machine based on Duck Dynasty. The game was developed for the Alpha 2 Pro Series cabinet and features mini-games themed after frog hunting, archery, and duck hunting.

2017: O'Reilly Auto Parts replaces sponsorship

In 2017, O'Reilly Auto Parts replaced Duck Commander as the title sponsor of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car race at Texas Motor Speedway.

2022: Filming of The Blind

In early 2022, filming for The Blind, a biopic covering the early relationship of Phil and Kay Robertson, took place in Shreveport, Louisiana.
