Jeremy Roenick is a retired American professional ice hockey player known for his prolific NHL career spanning twenty seasons. Drafted 8th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in 1988, he played for several teams including the Phoenix Coyotes, Philadelphia Flyers, Los Angeles Kings, and San Jose Sharks. Roenick represented Team USA in international competitions and achieved the milestone of scoring 500 career goals, making him one of only 46 players to reach this mark. Following his playing career, he worked as a hockey analyst for NBC Sports from 2010 to 2020. Roenick was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2024.
In 1990, Jeremy Roenick paced the team with ten game-winning goals as the Blackhawks improved another 18 points to win the Presidents' Trophy.

On February 21, 2009, Jeremy Roenick recorded his 700th career assist against the Atlanta Thrashers, becoming the 48th player in NHL history and the sixth American-born player to reach that milestone.
In 2010, Jordan Schroeder broke Jeremy Roenick's record as the all-time leading American scorer in the World Junior Championship, which Roenick had held for 21 years.
