Liam Delap is a professional footballer from England. Currently, he is a striker for Premier League club Chelsea. Delap is the son of former professional footballer Rory Delap. He plays as a forward.
In 2019, Liam Delap finished as the top scorer at the Mercedes-Benz Aegean Tournament for England Under-16.
In 2020, Liam Delap scored a goal and provided two assists in the final of the Under-18 Premier League Cup, showcasing his talent at a young age.
On 29 March 2021, Liam Delap scored in his only appearance for the England U18 side, during a 2–0 win away to Wales at Leckwith Stadium.
In April 2021, Pep Guardiola confirmed that Liam Delap would be permanently moved up to Manchester City's first team before the following season.

On 5 August 2023, Liam Delap debuted for Hull City in a 2–1 loss to Norwich City, scoring the opening goal of the match.
On 11 September 2023, Liam Delap made a goalscoring debut for England U21 during a 3–0 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification win against Luxembourg.
In December 2023, Liam Delap was named Hull City's Player of the Month, recognizing his outstanding performances for the team.
On 13 July 2024, Liam Delap joined newly promoted Premier League club Ipswich Town on a permanent deal worth up to £20 million, signing a five-year contract.
In March 2025, Liam Delap scored his third and last goal at under-21 level during a defeat to France. He was later withdrawn from the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship due to club commitments.
On 4 June 2025, Liam Delap's transfer to Chelsea was completed for a reported £30 million. He debuted on 16 June, assisting a goal against Los Angeles FC. On 19 June, he was nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award.
