The Peacock Theater, located in L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles, is a prominent music and theater venue. With a seating capacity of 7,100 and one of the largest indoor stages in the U.S., it is a well-known location for hosting a variety of award shows and special events. Previously known as Nokia Theatre and Microsoft Theater, the venue is a significant landmark within the L.A. Live entertainment complex.
On October 18, 2007, the theater opened with six concerts featuring The Eagles and The Dixie Chicks.
On December 8, 2007, John Mayer played a concert at the theater for the first revue of his Annual John Mayer Holiday Charity Revue.
