Aqib Talib is a former American football cornerback who played in the NFL. He played college football at the University of Kansas, earning All-American honors. He was drafted in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his NFL career, he also played for the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, and Los Angeles Rams. Notably, he won Super Bowl 50 with the Broncos. After retiring from professional football, he transitioned into a broadcasting career, starting as an analyst for NFL on Fox in 2020.

Aqib Talib did not play for the Dolphins in 2022 as he was on injured reserve at the time of the trade and became a free agent after the season.
