1906: Establishment of Army and Navy Commemoration Days

The Empire of Japan established Army Commemoration Day in 1906 to celebrate the victory in the Battle of Mukden and Navy Commemoration Day to celebrate the victory in the Battle of Tsushima.

1915: Landings at Anzac Cove
