Gilbert Arenas is a retired American professional basketball player. He played high school basketball at Grant High School and college basketball for the University of Arizona, where he earned a scholarship. Arenas was drafted into the NBA by the Golden State Warriors as the 31st overall pick in the 2001 NBA draft.
