Pietro Parolin is a high-ranking Italian Catholic prelate currently serving as the Vatican's Secretary of State since 2013. He also holds positions as a member of the Council of Cardinals since 2014 and is a Cardinal Bishop. Given his seniority and age (under 80), he is expected to preside over the 2025 papal conclave.
