The Wheel of Time is a high fantasy series by Robert Jordan, later co-written with Brandon Sanderson. Initially planned as a trilogy, it expanded to 14 main volumes, a prequel, and companion books. After Jordan's death in 2007, Sanderson used his extensive notes to complete the series, expanding the final book into three volumes: *The Gathering Storm*, *Towers of Midnight*, and *A Memory of Light*.
