Laura Loomer is an American far-right political activist, conspiracy theorist, and internet personality. She has run for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida twice, once in 2020 for Florida's 21st congressional district and again in 2022 for Florida's 11th congressional district, losing both times. Her political activity has often been controversial.
In June 2016, the Orlando nightclub shooting occurred, the wife of the perpetrator was Noor Salman, whose trial was attended by Laura Loomer in March 2018.
In February 2017, Laura Loomer was banned from the blogging platform Medium. The ban was implemented after Medium expanded its platform policies to prohibit disinformation and hate speech.
