Joey Logano

Joey Logano is a prominent American professional stock car racing driver. Currently, he races full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, piloting the No. 22 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Team Penske. Before his Cup Series career, Logano gained experience in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and the ARCA Menards Series, including its East and West divisions.

1987: Track-record lap speed

During qualifying at Michigan in 1987, Joey Logano achieved a track-record lap speed of 203.949 miles per hour (328.224 km/h) for his sixth career pole position. This was the ninth-fastest qualifying speed in NASCAR history and the fastest since Bill Elliott's run at Talladega in 1987.
